Privacy policy

This notice explains how Hotel Isola Verde processes the data you provide when you use the website hiv-preview.fdaideas.com, when you call us or when you write to us on WhatsApp. It follows Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data we collect

• From the website’s forms: full name, email, arrival and departure dates, number of guests and children's ages, room number (Garda Guest Card), size and quantity of the olive oil requested and the message you write.
• By phone, WhatsApp and email: your number or your address, your name as it appears and the messages you send us.
• While you visit the website: the technical data needed to make it work (IP address, browser type), processed by the hosting provider. Only if you allow us, also data on how you use the website, collected by Google Tag Manager. For cookies, see the cookie policy.

We do not ask for special categories of data (health, opinions, origin).

Why we use them and on what legal basis

• To answer your requests and prepare what you ask us for: these are pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To provide the service: this is the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• For tax and accounting obligations, if you become a customer (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• To count visits and understand which pages are useful: only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
• To show you our advertising on other platforms and measure its results: only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your data to anyone. There is no automated decision-making.

Who sees them

Only the data controller and the people who work with the business. The data also pass through providers who work on our behalf, appointed as data processors:

• the website’s hosting provider;
• the provider of the email account info@hotelisolaverde.com;
• Google Ireland Limited, for Google Tag Manager;
• the accountant, only for billing data.

If you write to us on WhatsApp, the messages pass through WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta group), which processes them according to its own privacy notice: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea.

Some providers may process data outside the European Union. In that case they do so with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).

How long we keep them

• Requests sent through the website’s form: they stay on the website for 30 days, then they are deleted automatically, together with any attached files; the IP address of the sender is shortened, and therefore anonymised, after 1 day. The copy we receive by email follows the periods below.
• Requests that do not turn into a service: 12 months from the last contact.
• Customer data: for as long as you are a customer and for 24 months from the last service, then we delete them.
• Tax documents: 10 years, as required by law.
• Data collected by the measurement and marketing tools: for the duration stated in the cookie policy.

Your rights

At any time you can ask to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its use, receive it in a readable format or object to its processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). Just write to info@hotelisolaverde.com: we reply within 30 days. You can withdraw your consent to the measurement and marketing tools from “Cookie preferences”, at the bottom of every page.

If you believe your data are being processed improperly, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali): garanteprivacy.it.

If you do not give us your data

You are not obliged to. Without a contact, however, we cannot reply to you.
